Ayurvedic Blend Facial (Mukha Abhyanga)
This Ayurvedic Blend Facial is Tri-doshic, meaning that is suitable for all skin types. According to Ayurveda, there are 5 elements that make up the 3 different doshas or mind/body types – Vata, Pitta or Kapha. Before your treatment begins, we will do a short assessment to learn more your hair and skin type.
This unique facial treatment goes beyond traditional expectations of a facial to include an integrated, full body experience. Guna Therapy (a gentle body rocking motion) and light abdominal massage may be incorporated (as indicated) to improve digestion and enhance the properties of the ingredients used. To compliment Guna, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (gentle movements that help flush toxins away from the lymph nodes) and Marma Point Therapy are applied to help detoxify and rejuvenate the skin.
This deeply nourishing treatment, not only helps to balance the skin, but will leave you feeling completed restored and renewed in mind and body!
Also includes aromatherapy, a scalp massage and hot towel treatment.
All of our skin products are made with 100% organic and natural ingredients.
Please note: The Ayurvedic Facial is not a clinical skin treatment. Treatment includes cleansing, exfoliation, steaming (no extractions at this time), hydrating mask and moisturizing in order to boost the skin’s natural renewal process.
