Yoga Therapy, like Massage or Physiotherapy is a private, individual assessment to gain an understanding of your current health needs, that goes beyond just the physical. You do not need to know anything about Yoga to benefit. Some people seek out Yoga Therapy because of injury, chronic health problems or stress they are experiencing, which Yoga Therapy can address. Others wish to delve deeper into Yoga with an experienced teacher.
I am currently undergoing training to become a Yoga Therapist, and looking for students to work with to complete the case study component of the training. If you would like to volunteer to be a case study, you would meet with me to create a personal Yoga practice to support you in your healing.
What to Expect
The initial consultation and assessment will take 1 1/2 hours. Dress in relaxed, comfortable clothing. I will create a clear and easy daily Yoga practice for you to follow. Follow-up sessions will be based on your needs as you experience changes in your health and your desire to improve your well-being.
*Yoga Therapy case studies have been put on hold at this time, due to provincial lockdown. If you would still like to receive the benefits of Yoga, you may choose to integrate aspects of breathing and Yoga into any massage appointment, book a 90 Minute Thai Yoga Massage or RMT + Yoga Session (60 Minutes of Massage, 30 Minutes of active or assisted Yoga stretching during and/or following the Massage).
