“With an emphasis on the integration of mind, body and spirit, individual Yoga Therapy provides a unique approach to explore and resolve physical, emotional and mental challenges at their root cause.  A Yoga approach to therapy goes beyond the traditional ‘talk therapy’ techniques which are ‘top down’ approaches. By incorporating the practices of asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation which are ‘bottom up” approaches, clients can improve mental, emotional and physical well being.” – Barb Quinlan.

I am presently studying Yoga Therapy with Barb Quinlan, Yoga Therapist,  in Guelph. Barb is a qualified Yoga instructor and Yoga Therapist who has been studying, practicing and teaching yoga for over 20 years. Barb has deepened her Yoga practice through private studies at the Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram in India with T.K.V.
