Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep. It is a state of conscious deep sleep. In mediation you remain in the Waking state of consciousness, and gently focus the mind, while allowing thought patterns, emotions, sensations and images to arise and go on without reaction or attachment to them. However, in Yoga Nidra, you leave the waking state, go past the Dreaming state, and go to Deep Sleep, yet remain awake. This it the mastery of Yoga Nidra. The practice induces calmness and slow brain waves. Yoga Nidra will induce alpha and theta brain states, which is where healing happens.
The practice of Yoga Nidra has a number of benefits:

For arrivals 20 minutes late, the lesson will be considered cancelled for that day, with a rescheduling for another day OR we can proceed with the lesson for the time that remains at full price.
